How Did We Get Here?
The Porsche sunroof drain lawsuit claimed that certain 2015-2023 Cayenne, 2015-2023 Macan, and 2014-2023 Panamera vehicles were equipped and sold and/or leased with defective sunroofs.
According to the Porsche sunroof class action, Porsche had long been aware of the defect and actively concealed it from consumers. The class action lawsuit alleged the automaker refused to disclose and failed to warn consumers of the defect and the propensity for the vehicles’ sunroofs to leak into the cars’ interiors, as well as the problems associated with the leaking.
