How Much Could My Deep River Potato Chips Settlement Payout Be?
Settlement class members who submit a valid claim form by the deadline are eligible for the following monetary payments depending on whether they submit proof of purchase:
- Valid Claim with Proof of Purchase: If you submit a valid claim form with proof of purchase for each claimed Deep River product, you will receive $5.00 for the first product and $0.50 for each additional product. There is no limit to the number of products you can seek a monetary payment for if proof of purchase is provided for each, the settlement website states.
- Valid Claim without Proof of Purchase: If you are a settlement class member and submit a valid claim without proof of purchase, you will receive $5.00 for the first product and $0.50 for each additional product, with a cap of 10 additional products.
If you are a settlement class member and submit a valid claim for products both with and without proof of purchase, the monetary payment benefits will be combined, the settlement site states.

When Will I Get My Deep River Potato Chip Settlement Payment?
If you file a valid and timely claim form, you will not receive payment until the settlement receives final approval and any potential appeals are resolved.
The court will hold a hearing on May 15, 2025 (subject to change) to determine whether to grant final approval to the settlement. Even if the court ultimately approves the settlement in the Deep River chips lawsuit, there may be appeals. The appeal process can take time, perhaps more than a year.
