Filed: June 5, 2017 ◆§ 1:17-cv-02047-ODE
A proposed collective action has been filed on behalf of valet attendants currently or formerly employed by National Parking Solutions, LLC.
A proposed collective action filed on behalf of valet attendants currently or formerly employed by National Parking Solutions, LLC alleges the company, which operates as National Parking Solutions – South, LLC, and its owner failed to pay mandatory minimum and overtime wages. Filed in Georgia, the lawsuit claims the plaintiff, who worked at various sites for the defendants between 2011 and 2017, and similar workers were paid pursuant to a “tip credit” method that led to the individuals being paid less than the hourly minimum wage. The plaintiff claims he and other parking attendants were required to participate in an unlawful tip pool with other employees who do not customarily receive tips.
