A proposed class action claims telemarketing company Unitel Marketing, LLC violated the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) by failing to pay sales representatives at its now-closed Maitland, Florida call center proper time-and-a-half overtime wages. The two named plaintiffs who filed the complaint allege that dozens of employees were paid at an hourly rate, plus bonuses and commissions, and often worked throughout lunches, breaks, and before and after shifts without being compensated for all hours worked.
