Myers v. TRG Customer Solutions, Inc.
Filed: June 1, 2017 ◆§ 1:17-cv-00052
A proposed collective action alleges TRG Customer Solutions, Inc., which operates as IBEX Global Solutions, failed to pay call center employees for off-the-clock work.
A proposed collective action filed in Tennessee alleges TRG Customer Solutions, Inc., which operates as IBEX Global Solutions, failed to pay its call center employees for each hour spent working. Alleging the defendant employs a company- and facility-wide policy of allowing and even requiring employees to work off-the-clock, the lawsuit says IBEX Global Solutions “deliberately fails to pay its employees for all time worked, including overtime, in willful violation” of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
The plaintiff, who worked in the defendant’s call center from November 2013 through June 2015, claims IBEX’s timekeeping system does not capture all hours worked by call center employees each day. The woman alleges she and similarly situated put in more than “100 to 150 minutes each week (20 to 30 minutes or more per day)” for which they were not paid proper overtime wages.
