Filed: January 5, 2017 ◆§ 3:17-cv-00011
A man formerly employed as a system technician is behind a proposed class action filed against Hiscall, Inc., Hiscall Telecommunications, Inc., and Hiscall Technologies.
A man formerly employed as a system technician is behind a proposed class action filed against Hiscall, Inc., Hiscall Telecommunications, Inc., and Hiscall Technologies, Inc. over allegedly unpaid overtime wages. The case alleges the plaintiff (and similarly situated employees) regularly worked in excess of 40 hours per week without being paid at the time-and-a-half hourly overtime rate laid out by the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The lawsuit claims that instead of overtime wages, proposed class members received a flat salary and a two percent commission payment whenever a telecommunications system was sold to a consumer.
