The plaintiffs behind a proposed class action against T & S Wholesale Dry Cleaning Inc. (which does business as Wholesale Cleaners) claims the company violated federal and state labor laws by failing to pay proper minimum, overtime and spread-of-hours wages. The two named plaintiffs (one of whom worked for the defendants until 2013, the other still employed by the company) claim they worked approximately 69 hours per week without being paid time-and-a-half overtime wages. The individuals also claim they’re owed spread-of-hours premiums for shifts that lasted longer than 10 hours in a day in accordance with New York labor laws.
