Defendant Solasi Accounting is facing a class action over alleged wage and hour violations.
Defendant Solasi Accounting & Tax Advice & Design of the Words in Dark Blue at Left Side Has a Circle Colored Blue, Purple and Green Light, also known as Solasi, and Lacayo Trade Group Inc. and its owner are facing a class action over alleged wage and hour violations. Filed in Florida district court, the lawsuit claims the defendants failed to pay individuals employed as assistants proper overtime and minimum wages. The named plaintiff, who is currently employed by the defendants, claims that during tax season (January through April) between January 2014 and November 2016, she worked an average of 94.5 hours per week, and an average of 60 hours per week between May and December during that time period, without time-and-a-half overtime wages.
