The operating entities of meat supply company P&S Select Foods, P&S Select Foods Inc. and P&S Select Meats Inc., and four individual owners are the defendants in a proposed collective action filed over numerous alleged violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The plaintiff, who was employed by the defendants from 2009 until November 2016, claims he worked more than 40 hours per week as a delivery assistant without being paid proper minimum wages, time-and-a-half hourly overtime, or spread-of-hours wages. The lawsuit says the plaintiff worked between 54 and 72 hours per week without being paid rightful wages.
