Filed: February 28, 2017 ◆§ 1:17-cv-01496
A proposed class and collective action claims defendants Pan Brothers Associates, Inc. and Tri-State Building Corp. failed to pay proper overtime wages.
A proposed class and collective action claims defendants Pan Brothers Associates, Inc., Tri-State Building Corp., as well as three of the companies’ owners, are responsible for the non-payment of proper overtime wages. The lawsuit was filed in New York by three individuals on behalf of current and former demolition and construction workers, bricklayers, carpenters, painters, plumbers, electricians and general laborers who work or worked more than 40 hours per week for the defendants without being paid at the time-and-a-half hourly overtime rate. Citing alleged violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the case claims the plaintiffs typically worked between 56 and 60 hours per week without being paid rightful wages.
