A former cook has filed a class action against Galbi Ma Eul and the restaurant’s owners claiming he up to 72 hours a week without receiving appropriate overtime, minimum and spread-of-hours wages. Filed in New York, the lawsuit alleges the plaintiff received a flat salary regardless of how many hours he worked per week and was not given acceptable meal breaks or spread-of-hours pay for days he worked longer than 10 hours.
