Filed: May 11, 2017 ◆§ 7:17-cv-03550
A New York woman has filed a proposed class and collective action against Cleansource, Inc., alleging that the cleaning company failed to pay her overtime wages.
A New York woman has filed a proposed class and collective action against Cleansource, Inc., alleging that the cleaning company failed to pay her overtime wages and provide accurate wage statements during her employment. The woman supposedly performed manual cleaning duties and worked 45 to 50 hours a week without being properly compensated for the hours she worked above 40. She claims she was denied overtime wages and was sometimes not compensated at all for her overtime hours.
The suit further alleges that the plaintiff was not provided with accurate wage notices and statements that detailed her hours and rates of pay, in violation of the New York Labor Law.
