Night Owl Cleaning Services, Inc., Night Owl II Cleaning Services, Inc., and the companies' owner are facing a lawsuit over allegedly unpaid overtime.
Night Owl Cleaning Services, Inc., Night Owl II Cleaning Services, Inc., and the companies’ owner are facing a lawsuit filed by two named plaintiffs who claim they and proposed class members are owed overtime pay. The plaintiffs, who worked for the defendants until April 2016, claim they worked between 45 and 100 hours per week and between 56 and 80 hours per week, respectively, without being paid time-and-a-half for all hours worked over 40. Instead, the plaintiffs claim they were paid a flat hourly rate that did not vary depending on how many hours they worked.
