Caffe & Mozzarella Bar and its owner are the defendants in a class action lawsuit claiming the eatery owes current and former employees unpaid overtime and minimum wages under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The complaint alleges the plaintiff worked, on average, more than 57 hours per week and was paid an average of $18.75 per hour, but was never paid for any hours worked over 40 in a week.
