BNV Homecare Agency, Inc. has found itself as the center of a proposed class/collective action lawsuit that alleges violations of both federal and New York wage and hour laws. The suit was filed by a handful of home health aides who say they were never given proper overtime wages when working, in some cases, up to 70 hours per week. Plaintiffs also say they were never given accurate wage statements and are asking for unpaid overtime pay, liquidated damages, attorneys’ fees and a remedy to their employer’s alleged labor law violations.
