Il Porto Brick Oven Pizza & Ristorante and its owners are facing a class action claiming employees are owed unpaid overtime and minimum wages. Five named plaintiffs, former dishwashers and pizza makers, claim they regularly worked six days a week, typically between 10 and 14 hours per day, at the Brooklyn, New York eatery without being paid time-and-a-half overtime wages or spread-of-hours pay. The lawsuit says proposed class members were unlawfully paid a flat rate regardless of how many hours they worked.
