Filed: December 8, 2016 ◆§ 2:16-cv-01834-MRH
A lawsuit has been filed against Mckesson Corporation over alleged violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act.
A lawsuit has been filed against Mckesson Corporation over alleged violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act. After about two years of employment, the plaintiff, who works for the defendants as a marketing research analyst, was notified that she would be paid as a non-exempt, hourly employee starting October 23, 2016. The suit claims that the plaintiff, however, should have always been classified this way – and should have always been paid overtime. The suit claims she never received overtime before the switch – or after it – and that the defendant’s failure to pay these extra wages and maintain accurate time records violates both state and federal law.
