A home healthcare worker formerly employed by Lutheran Homes of South Carolina has filed a proposed class action against the company.
A home healthcare worker formerly employed by Lutheran Homes of South Carolina has filed a proposed class action against the company claiming she regularly worked upward of 40 hours per week without receiving proper overtime pay. The complaint alleges the plaintiff worked as many as 72 hours some weeks without being paid at the time-and-a-half hourly overtime rate for all hours worked over 40.
The proposed class covers all current and former home healthcare workers employed by the defendants (or affiliated entities) between January 1, 2015 and the present who were not paid time-and-a-half overtime wages.
