Liberty-Ann Painting Inc. and its owner are the defendants in a proposed class action filed over the company’s alleged failure to pay time-and-a-half overtime wages. The plaintiff, who was employed by the defendants as a non-exempt painter until September 2016, claims he regularly worked more than 40 hours per week without being paid overtime as called for by the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
