Epic Landscape Productions, L.C. is on the receiving end of a proposed collective action lawsuit that claims it failed to properly compensate its employees for all hours worked. The plaintiff says he worked for the landscaping company as an hourly laborer and was not paid for all the straight-time hours he worked. He further alleges that the defendant neglected to provide time-and-a-half overtime wages for the hours he worked above 40 each week. According to the complaint, a suit alleging similar violations was filed in 2009 against Epic Landscape Productions, but the plaintiff claims the defendant continues to employ the same illegal pay practices.
