Construction services and repairs company Pine Builders Corp. is on the receiving end of a proposed collective and class action alleging current and former workers are owed unpaid hourly overtime wages. Filed in New York, the lawsuit claims Pine Builders Corp. owes at least 100 masonry, cleaning and demolition laborers time-and-a-half hourly wages for weeks in which they worked more than 40 hours. The plaintiff, who the case says worked for the defendant from February 2016 through May 2017, claims he was paid at only his straight-time rate for working roughly 45 to 55 hours per week.
