New York Japanese Restaurant Blue Ginger and its owners are the subjects of a class action claiming employees were not paid minimum, overtime and spread-of-hours wages. Filed by a former delivery worker, the lawsuit claims the plaintiff often worked between 10 and 12 hours per day without receiving appropriate wages or rest and meal breaks. Additionally, the plaintiff says that despite being employed as a delivery worker, he spent around two hours per day doing work in the restaurant’s kitchen.
