An hourly laborer has filed a proposed class action lawsuit against Humana, Inc. over allegedly unpaid wages and other potential Fair Labor Standards Act violations.
An hourly laborer has filed a proposed class action lawsuit against Humana, Inc. over allegedly unpaid wages and other potential Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) violations. The plaintiff, who the complaint says is still employed by Humana, alleges the defendant failed to pay him and similarly situated workers proper wages for off-the-clock work. The case claims that the defendant did not keep track of the hours worked by the plaintiff and other workers and paid a flat rate “that would have equated to far less than the minimum wage and no provisions for overtime.”
