Home Family Care Inc. is the defendant in a proposed class action claiming the in-home health care company failed to pay proper overtime wages to workers under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The plaintiff claims she worked at least 51 hours per week without receiving FLSA-mandated time-and-a-half pay for all hours worked over 40.
The proposed class for the case covers anyone who works or has worked for the defendant as a home health aide between January 1, 2015 and the present who was not paid proper overtime compensation.
