Genesis Jungles LLC and two individuals with day-to-day control over the business are the defendants in a proposed class action that alleges certain employees were not paid proper minimum and overtime wages. The three named plaintiffs—a welder, construction worker and maintenance man formerly employed by the company—each claim they and other employees regularly worked more than 60 hours per week for the defendants, but were never paid at the mandatory time-and-a-half overtime rate for all hours worked past 40. The complaint claims the defendants’ alleged wage and hour violations date back three years.
