Pintor et al v. Park King at JFK, LLC et al
Filed: November 14, 2016 ◆§ 1:16-cv-06269-PKC-PK
Two former employees have filed a class action against the owners of Park King at JFK, LLC, Parking King at JFK II, Inc. and Parking at JFK III, Inc.
Two former employees have filed a class action against the owners of Park King at JFK, LLC, Parking King at JFK II, Inc. and Parking at JFK III, Inc. claiming they and similarly situated workers were not paid mandatory overtime wages or compensated for their first and last weeks of work. Alleging Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and New York labor laws violations, the lawsuit claims the plaintiffs regularly worked more than 50 hours per week—with one plaintiff working more than 70 hours a week—without receiving time-and-a-half overtime pay.
The proposed class covers anyone currently or formerly employed by the defendants as a parking attendant or driver who was not paid proper overtime wages within the last six years.
