Strategic Financial Solutions, LLC, Strategic Consulting, LLC, and the companies’ CEO and Vice President of Human Resources are the defendants in a proposed class action lawsuit over alleged violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The plaintiff, whose responsibilities for the defendants included selling debt consolidation services over the phone and through email, alleges he was instructed by the defendants not to record more than 40 work hours a week even though the companies were aware that proposed class members routinely worked “far in excess of” 40 hours each workweek.
