Coffee and tea manufacturer Lavazza Premium Coffees Corp. is the defendant in a proposed class action brought over allegedly unpaid or underpaid minimum and overtime wages. The lawsuit, which was filed in district court in New York, alleges the plaintiff—who was employed as a logistics manager from 2001 through December 2016—worked between 40 and 60 hours per week without proper time-and-a-half overtime wages. The plaintiff also claims the defendant failed to provide him with mandatory wage statements.
