A proposed class action filed in Florida claims Dynasty Landscaping Service, Inc., which does business as Dynasty Tree Service, and its owner failed to pay proper minimum and overtime wages. The plaintiff, who was employed by the defendants as a tree trimmer and stump grinder for roughly 27 weeks, claims that for 15 weeks of his employment he worked 78 hours per week without being paid at the time-and-a-half hourly overtime rate for all hours worked past 40. For the final 12 weeks of his tenure, the plaintiff says he worked 65 hours a week without overtime pay.
