Oliver Exterminating Corp and Rentokil North America, Inc., are on the receiving end of a proposed class action over allegedly unpaid overtime wages.
Oliver Exterminating Corp and Rentokil North America, Inc., which do business as Guarantee Floridian Exterminating Co. and Guarantee Floridian Pest Control, respectively, are on the receiving end of a proposed class action over allegedly unpaid overtime wages. The plaintiff, who the case says worked as a fumigator for the defendants for more than two decades, claims he worked an average of 66 hours per week without being paid time-and-a-half for all hours worked over 40.
The lawsuit notes that in November 2015, Oliver Exterminating Corp was sold to Rentokil North America, Inc., which merged the two companies.
