Filed: April 23, 2017 ◆§ 2:17-cv-00212-JES-MRM
A former employee of Healthcare Consultants Alliance LLC has filed a lawsuit against the company and an individual owner, claiming they failed to compensate her properly.
A former employee of Healthcare Consultants Alliance LLC has filed a proposed class action against the company and an individual owner, claiming they failed to pay her the required minimum and overtime wages in accordance with federal law. According to the complaint, the plaintiff was not compensated properly for the hours she worked above 40 in a week, including her “on-call” shifts during the week and on the weekend. She argues that she spent up to 12 hours a week performing on-call work in addition to her regular 40 hours. The defendants allegedly failed to keep accurate records of her hours worked and did not pay her time-and-a-half wages for her overtime hours.
