Edulga, Inc., which runs the El Eden Motel in Florida, and its owner are the defendants in a proposed class action that alleges employees were not paid proper minimum and overtime wages. The plaintiff, who worked as a cleaner for the defendants until January 2017, claims she worked an average of 66 hours per week without being paid at the time-and-a-half hourly overtime rate for all hours worked over 40.
