Filed: January 21, 2017 ◆§ 1:17-cv-00455
Three individuals formerly employed by DP Consulting have filed a proposed class action against the company and its owning and operating entities.
Three individuals formerly employed by DP Consulting have filed a proposed class action against the company and its owning and operating entities claiming they and similarly situated workers are owed unpaid overtime wages. The lawsuit out of New York district court claims DPC New York Inc., DP Consulting Corp. and two individual officers failed to pay individuals working as, among other roles, construction foremen, warehouse supervisors, fire safety inspectors, mechanics and drivers proper overtime wages under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
The complaint claims, among other allegations, that the named plaintiffs and proposed class members were required to perform off-the-clock work for which they were never paid, as well as purchase their own “tools of the trade” without reimbursement.
