Corizon Health, Inc. is the defendant in a proposed class action claiming the Tennessee-based healthcare corporation failed to pay its hourly staff nurses proper overtime wages. Filed in Georgia, the lawsuit claims the plaintiff, who worked for the defendants until June 2016, regularly worked in excess of 40 hours per week without being paid at the time-and-a-half rate mandated by the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
The complaint also alleges that the defendant’s managers systematically deleted employees’ documented hours worked.
