A wage and hour lawsuit filed in California against Encore Health Resources, LLC has been removed to federal court in Texas.
A wage and hour lawsuit filed in California against Encore Health Resources, LLC has been removed to federal court in Texas. The suit was initially filed in May 2018 over claims that the Houston-based healthcare IT firm routinely denied its “at-the-elbow go-live support consultants” lawful overtime wages.
Behind the proposed class action is a support consultant who worked for the defendant out of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in California. According to the case, the woman regularly put in 12-hour shifts seven days a week providing IT support to medical facilities throughout the country without time-and-a-half pay for her overtime work.
