A proposed class action citing alleged violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and the Arkansas Minimum Wage Act has been filed against Caruso Trucking, Ltd.
A proposed class action citing alleged violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and the Arkansas Minimum Wage Act has been filed against Caruso Trucking, Ltd. – which does business as Caruso Logistics – Caruso Logistic Services, LLC, and Caruso, Inc. The plaintiff reportedly worked for the defendants as a route driver from October 2016 through January 20, 2017 without being paid proper overtime or minimum wages.
The case says, as an example, the plaintiff worked roughly 120 hours over the course of a pay period, but was only paid for 63 hours of work.
