Beach Life of Miami LLC and three individual defendants are facing a proposed class action claiming employees were not paid proper overtime wages as called for by the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The plaintiff claims he worked an average of 56 hours a week as a salesman and cashier for the defendants without time-and-a-half overtime pay.
