A former employee has filed a proposed class action claiming BB Locksmith, Inc. failed to pay proper overtime wages pursuant to federal law.
A former employee has filed a proposed class action claiming BB Locksmith, Inc. failed to pay proper overtime wages pursuant to federal law. The lawsuit, filed in Florida, claims the plaintiff worked in excess of 40 hours per week without being paid at the time-and-a-half hourly overtime rate as mandated by the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Further, the plaintiff says he and proposed class members were required to fill out company paperwork and research job-related tutorials off the clock without regular or overtime pay.
