Business management and technology consulting firm Arthur Lawrence US, LLC is the defendant in a class action filed by a former anti-money laundering analyst (AML) who claims he is owed unpaid overtime wages under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The lawsuit says the defendant provided it services to JPMorgan Chase, with hourly employees working in the JPMorgan offices. According to the plaintiff, he and similarly situated proposed class members, responsible in the capacity of their jobs for spotting suspicious financial activity, were not paid the time-and-a-half hourly rate for hours worked over 40 in a week.
