A class action filed against APJ Contracting and its owner claims the parties failed to pay employees for all overtime hours worked and unlawfully deducted pay from workers’ pay checks for “tax purposes.” Filed by a former driver and laborer, the lawsuit claims in addition to the wage and hour violations that employees often received paychecks from the defendant that bounced when they attempted to cash them.
The proposed class covers anyone who worked for the defendants within the last six years.
