A class action filed against Al-Flex Exterminators and its owner claims workers are owed unpaid overtime wages under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The plaintiff claims that after setting an agreed upon work schedule with the defendant, he began working between 60 and 70 hours per week at various locations without time-and-a-half pay. According to the lawsuit, to address the plaintiff’s complaints about non-payment of overtime, the defendant agreed to switch his wage structure from salary to hourly. The plaintiff says this never happened and he was never paid any amount above his initially agreed upon salary.
