A proposed class action filed in Georgia alleges Air Serv Corporation violated the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) by failing to pay proposed class members proper overtime wages. The plaintiff worked for the airline services company as a floor technician at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and alleges he was not paid at the time-and-a-half hourly rate for all hours worked over 40 in a week. Additionally, the plaintiff says he was not afforded a bona fide meal break even though one half hour each day was deducted from his wages.
