Two mud engineers have filed a proposed class action against their former employer, AES Drilling Fluids, LLC, claiming they and similarly situated workers were not paid mandatory overtime wages under state and federal labor laws. According to the lawsuit, the proposed class of mud engineers worked 12-hour shifts seven days per week, and sometimes more, without receiving proper wages.
