One plaintiff, for instance, claims that while her three tickets were initially listed at $870 total, she was then charged an additional $163 in fees and $78 in taxes. | ~ In Other News ~ The mattress and bedroom furniture retailer is facing a proposed class action after approximately 137,000 platform beds were recalled in September 2024 due to a fall and injury risk. The suit says that, as of the recall announcement, Lucid has received 245 reports of the platform beds sagging, breaking, or collapsing, causing 18 injuries. Read up on the allegations and affected products here. | Segway faces a proposed class action lawsuit days after it recalled roughly 220,000 Ninebot Max G30P and Max G30LP KickScooters due to concerns that the products’ folding mechanism could fail during use. The plaintiff said he was riding his Segway Ninebot Max G30P when the stem suddenly folded and collapsed, causing a fall that tore his rotator cuff and dislocated and fractured his shoulder.
