| ~ In Other News ~ A proposed class action lawsuit alleges that Procter & Gamble’s environmental sustainability campaign for Charmin toilet paper is nothing more than greenwashing. The case claims that the sourcing methods for the wood pulp used to make the product are environmentally devastating, despite what the company’s marketing says. You can read up on the allegations here. | According to the suit, Igloo has falsely advertised that certain cooler products are biodegradable or composed entirely of recycled materials. For instance, the case alleges that Igloo’s “biodegradable” representations on its ReCool reusable cooler have led consumers to believe the product will fully break down within a reasonable time after disposal—which is rarely the case.
