Faulty Products? We have a handful of new investigations to touch on in this issue, starting with one looking into Halo’s Versa 16 pizza oven. Some customers have reported that the pizza oven fails to live up to its advertised promise of heating to 950 degrees in 12 minutes — if at all. Then, attorneys suspect that several additional, newer vehicles may be experiencing problems with their Chrysler Uconnect systems. A list of potentially affected vehicles can be found below. We also have a new investigation into how Legacy Touch, a company that sells fingerprint mementos to memorialize loved ones, may be illegally handling biometric data in Illinois. Keep reading for the latest, including the newest settlements you may be able to claim. - Ty Armstrong, Writer/Community Manager | Some Halo customers have been reporting that their Versa 16 pizza ovens fail to reach 950 degrees as advertised – and now attorneys are investigating whether a class action lawsuit can be filed. A successful case could allow consumers to get back some of the money they spent on their pizza ovens and force Halo to change any representations found to be false or misleading. If you bought a Halo Versa 16 pizza oven at any time in the past three years, you may be able to help the investigation and potentially get a lawsuit on file. Allegations have surfaced that a defect is causing some vehicles’ entertainment, communication and navigation features to malfunction. At least one proposed class action has already been filed on behalf of 2017, 2018 and 2019 Chrysler Pacifica and Chrysler 300 drivers – but attorneys suspect the problem could extend well beyond these vehicles and are looking to get additional drivers covered. If you drive a 2021-2023 Chrysler Pacifica, 2022-2023 Dodge Durango, 2022-2023 Ram, or 2022-2023 Jeep Compass, Grand Cherokee or Grand Wagoneer vehicle, read up on the details here. | New Data Breach Investigations | | Got a data breach notice?
