Zimmer Biomet Holdings, Inc. has been hit with a lawsuit in Indiana on behalf of those who purchased the company’s securities between September 7, 2016 and October 31, 2016. The suit claims that the company made false and misleading statements and “failed to disclose material adverse facts about the company’s business, operations, and prospects.” Specifically, Zimmer allegedly failed to disclose that it was having supply chain problems, which led to a decrease in order fulfillment rates, that its revenues and profit forecasts were unachievable, and that its resulting statements to the public were false, misleading and unreasonable.
