A Georgia woman has filed a proposed class action against Yahoo for its alleged failure to properly safeguard users' personal information.
A Georgia woman has filed a proposed class action against Yahoo for its alleged failure to properly safeguard users’ personal information. This latest lawsuit comes in the wake of the company’s announcement of yet another massive data breach that reportedly compromised account information of more than one billion users. According to the 23-page complaint, the plaintiff and proposed class members “are at risk for identity theft in its myriad forms, potentially for the remainder of their lives” due to Yahoo’s alleged negligence.
