Filed: November 13, 2018 ◆§ 1:18cv24736
A Miami resident claims that YIR, LLC sent him an automated text message without first obtaining his express written consent to do so.
A Miami resident claims in a proposed class action that YIR, LLC sent him an automated text message without first obtaining his express written consent to do so.
The suit says that in October 2018, the plaintiff received a text from Yaffe International Realty in which the company congratulated the man on his real estate license and invited him to its office. The plaintiff alleges he never provided the defendant with his explicit permission to be contacted using an automatic telephone dialing system and adds that his number has been listed on the National Do Not Call registry since May 2017.
