The deal with Pro Custom Solar LLC, which does business as Momentum Solar, covers all individuals in the United States who received two or more telemarketing calls from or on behalf of the solar energy company within a one-year period from March 5, 2015 through January 2, 2025. The class does not include current or former Momentum Solar customers, the settlement agreement notes.
To receive a Momentum Solar settlement payout, class members must submit a valid claim form online or by mail by July 31, 2025.
You can file a Momentum Solar claim form online on this page. Alternatively, you can download a PDF claim form to print, complete and return by mail.
If you received a personalized settlement notice via mail or email, you can enter your unique Notice ID and confirmation code when filing a claim online. However, class members may still submit an online claim form if they did not receive a settlement notice.

According to court documents, the company will pay between $20 million and $30 million to settle two Momentum Solar class action lawsuits. The cases claimed Momentum Solar violated the federal TCPA and related state laws by making automated telemarketing calls to consumers regarding its solar services or products without prior consent.
The amount of the settlement fund will depend on how long it takes the company to make payment, among other considerations, the settlement agreement says.
Per the document, if Momentum Solar pays $20 million into the settlement fund within seven years of the date the court enters its final judgment, the amount owed “shall be deemed fully paid.” Otherwise, the agreement relays, the company will pay in increments over a period of years until the total amount paid reaches $30 million.
According to the Momentum Solar settlement website, class members who submit a timely, valid claim form are eligible to receive a pro-rated share of the settlement fund on a per-call basis. Consumers can file a claim for up to 50 calls received between March 5, 2015 and January 2, 2025, the site states.
The deal with Momentum Solar was preliminarily approved by the court on January 2, 2025. It is now up to the court to determine whether to grant final approval to the settlement at a hearing on August 18, 2025.
Should the deal receive ultimate court approval, payouts to eligible class members will be issued “as soon as practicable” after at least $1 million is accumulated in the settlement fund for the benefit of consumers.
